When cheese is frozen it will last over 12 months and still be very safe to eat although it may lose it's texture and not taste as good.
For the best taste and freshness of the frozen cheese you should eat the cheese before 8 months but once again the cheese is still good to eat well beyond 8 months it just won't taste as good.
