Eggs really should be kept in the refrigerator when not using them especially if the eggs are store bought eggs that have been refrigerated previously.

The cold will keep any bacteria from forming in the eggs which makes the eggs last longer and keeps them safer to eat.

It's also best to keep the eggs near the back of the refrigerator where they'll be kept much colder.

Fresh eggs from the farm or your chicken coop can safely stay out on the counter for up to a week but if you plan to keep the eggs longer than a week you should refrigerate the eggs.

Eggs bought in the store should always be kept in the refrigerator since they've been previously refrigerated.
