Yes, you can deep fry bacon raw.

Bacon can be deep fried raw and when you deep fry the raw bacon, the deep frying process will cook the bacon quickly.

Although it's cook the bacon at least partially before deep frying to render some fat and prevent the bacon from becoming dry or overly burnt, which will yield a superior texture and flavor.

Some people also enjoy the super crispy and almost airy result from dropping the bacon straight into the deep fryer.

Just be careful about the oil temperature and don't overcrowd the deep fryer with too much bacon as the bacon releases a lot of moisture and fat quickly, which could cause spattering.

To deep fry the bacon either raw or partially cooked.

Heat the deep fryer oil or a deep pot with oil to around 300 F to 350 F.

Then cut strips of bacon into manageable pieces or leave whole, if you prefer, but don't overcrowd the deep fryer or pan.

If you want a better texture you can par-cook the bacon in a skillet or microwave first until the bacon is slightly chewy, then drain the bacon.

Next carefully place the bacon into the hot oil and keep an eye on it as it cooks within a minute or two.

Once the bacon is cooked in the deep fryer or pan, use tongs to flip the pieces of bacon every 30 seconds or so until it is cooked.

Then remove the bacon from the deep fryer or pan, just before the bacon reaches your desired crispiness, as it continues to cook, and then place the bacon on paper towels to drain any excess bacon grease.
