You can freeze Philadelphia cream cheese if you want too and it will still be okay and safe to eat however when you do freeze the Philadelphia cream cheese the texture can change as well as the taste and it can become less creaming and crumbly.

I sometimes freeze cream cheese but only use the frozen cream cheese in baking and other cooked dishes where cannot notice the changes.

Keeping the Philadelphia Cream cheese or any cream cheese refrigerated is usually good enough though to keep it good although freezing it can make it last a bit longer.

Yes Philadelphia cream cheese can be frozen however it's not recommended to freeze Philadelphia cream cheese or any cream cheese because the texture changes when you freeze it.

When you thaw out frozen cream cheese it becomes crumbly and not as fresh tasting as it would be if you just refrigerated it.

Frozen cream cheese including Philadelphia cream cheese that is frozen is better suited for cooking such as casseroles and other baked or cooked dishes where the texture and taste won't be as noticeable.

Also to note that non fat or low fat cream cheeses don't freeze too good so it's not recommended but it's okay to freeze the cream cheese if you want too.

Cream cheese is a soft, usually mild-tasting fresh cheese made from milk and cream.

Stabilizers such as carob bean gum and carrageenan are often added in industrial production.

Freezing cream cheese including Philadelphia Cream cheese is not recommended because it can become crumbly and the texture can change.

This is okay though in baked goods where you won't notice the change in texture or taste.
