Length of content does not matter for Google Ranking and SEO.

It used to be that you needed to write detailed content and include lots of relevant keywords to rank well in Google search but that was years ago.

Today though what matters most is the quality of the content and how helpful the content actually is for the person searching Google about a question.

As long as the post or content is helpful and solves the persons problem then the content can rank at the top of Google Search.

I've written blog posts with 3 sentences that solved problems and they rank well in Google.

Some blog posts that are longer don't rank as good but if the blog post requires a longer detailed post it can still rank well.

Google search has really changed now and with their new updates they are weeding out websites with low quality content and posts and also weeding out blogs that use AI mainly for their writing of content.

Google Search is also ranking user generated content and forums higher now and even older posts from 10 to 15 and even 20 years ago higher as it's not written by AI.

Even though Google search is using AI in it's search results now for some queries they still want blog posts and articles from other people to be written mainly by humans and so that it is actually helpful.

AI content can rank but it should be really helpful and the best thing to do to get your website to rank high in Google search is to write good posts yourself or hire someone that can write good posts and articles that are helpful.

It can take a few months or longer for content to rank in Google so don't be surprised if you write content now and don't get traffic from Google for a few months to a year or longer.

Ranking in Google can happen overnight or within minutes to hours or the same day if your website is of high quality and you have good domain authority but for most websites and especially newer websites it can take months to years to rank.

I’ve seen good results when mixing longer content with steady forum linkbuilding. It helps bring in natural traffic and shows Google that others are talking about your site in context. I focus more on making posts useful and tied into the topic of the thread so it doesn’t look spammy. That way the links stick around and actually bring in clicks, not just SEO points.

From my experience, longer content usually does better if it actually gives value and keeps people interested, but just making something long for no reason doesn’t help much. I’ve also noticed that good backlinks still play a big role. I started using Crowdo link building services a few months ago, and it really helped boost my newer, shorter posts too, even though they weren’t super long compared to others.
