The 4 types of pan fried eggs are over hard, over medium, over easy and sunny side up.
The differences between the 4 different types of pan fried eggs are the doneness of the yolk.
With over hard eggs the eggs are flipped and cooked until the egg yolk is fully set.
With over medium eggs the eggs are flipped so that the white is set and the yolk is only slightly runny.
With over easy eggs the eggs are flipped so that the white is set although the yolk is still runny.
And for sunny side up eggs the eggs are fried without flipping so that the egg yolk is up.
The egg white in sunny side up eggs are set but the yolk is still liquid.
To fry eggs melt some butter or heat some oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
Then crack the egg or eggs into the pan and cook the eggs until the white is set.
Then flip and cook the eggs until the egg yolk has set to the doneness that you prefer.
You can also season the eggs with some pepper and salt.
