You should not refrigerate Texas toast.

Texas toast does not require refrigeration and can be left out at room temperature.

If you refrigerate Texas toast it can make it go stale faster.

Instead store the Texas toast in a cool and dry location like in your pantry or a breadbox if you have one.

If you don't plan on eating the Texas toast within a couple days you can freeze it instead.

To freeze the Texas toast wrap the Texas toast tightly in some plastic wrap and place it in a freezer bag.

Remove as much air as you can to prevent ice crystals from forming.

To thaw the Texas toast you should should thaw it just enough so that the slices of bread can be easily separated.

Keep the Texas toast away from any direct sunlight.

And if you buy Texas toast check the best before date on the package.

Frozen Texas toast is not always suitable for pop up toasters or microwave ovens.
