And salami is firmer and chewier than capicola.
Capicola is often served thinly sliced and salami is often used as a pizza topping or in sandwiches.
Capicola is also traditionally from Italy and France.
Although capicola is considered a type of salami as it's a salted meat it does differ a lot from normal salami.
Capicola is solely made from pork and like mentioned above salami can be made from other types of meats including veal, venison, poultry or sometimes pork.
