Can A TV be mounted on the wall without drilling into wall studs?

A small television could be mounted onto the wall without the studs using the drywall anchors however I would not recommend doing so.

It's better to just use a stud finder and find the studs behind the drywall and then drill into the studs and mount the TV mount on the studs to hold the TV better and safer.

An led Television should always be mounted to the walls studs for safety and to prevent it from tearing out the drywall should you have a kid try to climb the Television.

My nephew who was 2 at the time tried grabbing onto my led Television and hanging off of it and if it weren't mounted to the studs he likely would've pulled it down and off the wall.
