An easy way to tell whether eggs are fresh or not and are still good to eat is by doing the water test.
Fill a bowl with water and then place the eggs in the bowl of water and if the eggs sink to the bottom of the bowl of water then the eggs are fresh and good to eat.
If the eggs stand on one end they're not as fresh but they're still safe to eat and if the eggs float to the surface or they don't sink then the eggs are no longer good and should be thrown out.
Another way to tell if eggs are still good or bad is to open the egg and smell it and if it has a rotten smell then the egg is no longer good and should be thrown away.
