I personally use https://videoconverter.wondershare.com/ Wondershare video converter for my video editing needs.

It's well worth the price in my opinion however you can get Video Converters for around $29.00 such as ACDSEE Video Converter.

I've also used the freemake video converter before and was happy with it as a free video converter.

I used AVC and Handbrake before, but they are too slow and not for a common user. NOW I'm using Free HD Video Converter Factory and Format Factory. Work perfectly.

Simply, only 3 steps - >
1. Load your videos.
2. Select the format you need.
3. Start to convert

I usually use online video converter(www.videoconverter.com/how-to-convert-mts-to-mp4.html). It can convert any media files, including films, music, and images. It supports many popular formats including MP4, MOV, AVI, MP3, GIF, and more. Works very fast, highly recommend!
