What is considered a good bounce rate on websites?

My website has a bounce rate of 60% is this a bad bounce rate? If so how can I lower my bounce rate and keep visitors on my website longer?

60% bounce rate isn't great. But it isn't all that bad either.

You should aim for a 50% bounce rate though.
