Homegrown strawberries taste better because unlike commercially grown strawberries they are not bred for size, color disease, insect resistance and shipping ability.

Local and homegrown strawberries are usually allowed to ripen in the fields or where they are planted at the peak of freshness and also because home grown strawberries are picked and eaten fresh they taste better as they have not been stored while shipping.

Eating strawberries before bed helps you sleep as strawberries contain vitamin C and melatonin which both promote sleep.

Not only that but the antioxidants that are in strawberries help to counteract the oxidative stress that is caused by sleep disorders.

There are 4 colors of strawberries which are golden berries, yellow, pink and white strawberries.

If you eat too many strawberries in one sitting it can lead to diarrhea, gas, bloating, stomach pain and other digestive symptoms.

Strawberries are healthy to eat and okay to eat everyday although too many can cause digestive issues.

It's recommended that you eat up to 1 cup or 8 medium sized strawberries a day.

However you can eat some more if it does not cause any digestive issues.

Strawberries are a great source of antioxidants including vitamin C, which can support a healthy immune system and may lower your chances of getting sick when you're around germs.

They may also help curb inflammation in the body, manage your blood sugar, and guard you against health conditions like high cholesterol, cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Strawberries are packed with antioxidants and essential nutrients that can reduce inflammation, support heart health, boost cognitive function, aid digestion and help regulate blood sugar.

While strawberries are generally safe for most individuals, it's essential to be mindful of potential allergies or sensitivities.

Considering how sweet and delicious they are, strawberries are surprisingly low in sugar.

A cup of raw strawberries has about 7 g of sugar and more than 100% of the recommended daily vitamin C intake.
