Raw Okra can safely be eaten however it doesn't really taste as good raw as it does cooked.
Okra when eaten raw though has more health benefits than eating the Okra cooked.
Eating Okra whether raw or cooked can also help promote a healthy pregnancy.
I've tried eating Okra raw before and I just couldn't eat it but I do love Okra when cooked in Stews, Soups, fried Okra and even Steamed Okra.
But yes you can eat Raw Okra if you'd like too as it certainly won't hurt you.
