To reheat a frozen pie preheat the oven to 325 F and then place the frozen pie in the oven straight from the freezer.

Then bake for around 25 minutes to heat the frozen pie back up and let it stand for 30 minutes to 60 minutes after.

You can keep a pie in the fridge for between 3 days to 5 days depending on the pie.

Pies without dairy products are often good for 5 days in the fridge and pies with dairy products are good for around 3 days in the fridge.

If not eating the pie within 3 to 5 days you can freeze it and the pie will last frozen for around 4 months.

Pies should be refrigerated to help keep them fresh longer even if the pie doesn't require refrigeration.

However some pies require refrigeration and others can be kept at room temperature for a few days.

Refrigerating the pies will help them last longer.

Pies that don't require refrigeration are pies without whipped toppings, pies without meat, pies without dairy, pies without eggs which are safe at room temperature.

Fruit pies or any other pies that don't contain dairy or meat or milk don't require refrigeration.

However fruit pies should really be refrigerated if not eating within a few days to make them last long.

Pies that require refrigeration are egg rich pies such as pumpkin pie, pecan pie, lemon meringue pie and custard pies.

Other pies that should also be refrigerated are cream and chiffon pies and pies with dairy products which includes pies made with eggs, cream, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, evaporated milk or condensed milk.

Any pies that contain eggs or dairy products or even meat pies should be kept refrigerated.

Pies that don't contain any meats or dairy products or eggs don't require refrigeration and can be left at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Fruit pies for example are okay at room temperature for 2 days but if not eating or serving the fruit pie within a few days it should be refrigerated.

You can also freeze fruit pies and most other pies and they will last up to around 4 months.

You can then thaw the frozen pie in the oven.

Also any pies that contain whipped toppings should always be refrigerated to prevent spoilage.

Fruit pies, custard pies and cream pies can often last up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

Actual plain "fruit pies" generally contain enough sugar to prevent rapid spoilage and therefore often do not require refrigeration.
