Most bank robbers don't get away nowadays as banks today now have multiple layers of security including vaults, bulletproof glass and access control Vestibule which is like a cage which robbers must exist through.

Banks also have cameras at multiple locations and angles in the bank and outside and even panic buttons that quietly summon the police.

A bank teller will push the button as they are filling a bag with money and by the time the bank robber gets ready to leave the bank the cops can most often show up if they are close enough.

Years ago before cameras and all the security measures many bank robbers got away but today it's not so easy to get away with bank robbery.

The money that bank robbers get away with is often covered in a dye that cannot be removed and gets on their hands as well.
