The taste of spirulina is kind of hard to describe and it's not really tasty but even though it doesn't taste all that great the Spirulina has a lot of health benefits and is worth eating or making a smoothy out of for the health benefits.
To me Spirulina has a sea vegetable and earthy like taste.
Spirulina is an organism that grows in both fresh and salt water and is a great food for weight loss as well and calcium, niacin, potassium, magnesium, B vitamins and iron.
Spirulina also contains essential amino acids which are compounds that are the building blocks of proteins.
