You can drink ground coffee like instant coffee although the coffee can turn out not as good and result in a different flavor profile due to the presence of the coffee grounds.

Instant coffee is ground coffee that has been brewed then has had the water totally removed from them leaving a dehydrated powder making it quicker and easier to brew by only having to add water.

The reason ground coffee tastes better than instant coffee is the ground coffee beans have not been altered during the process of making instant coffee and also the coffee grounds for fresh brewed coffee hold onto all of the essential oils which make it lower in acidity than instant coffee.

Ground coffee does taste much better than instant coffee.

Instant coffee does not taste as good as brewed ground coffee although some people don't mind it.

Drinking coffee on an empty stomach is bad for your gut because the coffee when consumed on an empty stomach increases the production of gastric acid.

The body absorbs coffee (and, therefore, caffeine) faster when there's nothing else in your stomach.

This rapid absorption can intensify caffeine's effects, making you feel anxious, jittery or irritable.

If your coffee does not taste good it can be from not having water hot enough, not using enough coffee grounds or using too many coffee grounds.

Also if you use too coarse of a grind of coffee or too fine of a grind of coffee it can cause coffee to not taste as good.

Another reason for bad tasting coffee is using poor quality water or city water with chlorine in it.

The chlorine in city water can alter the taste of the coffee so you should try using filtered or bottled water without the chlorine.

I'm on well water and when drink coffee made with well water it tastes so much better than it did when I made coffee with city water.

If you can't get well water then use bottled water instead for your coffee.

A coffee that doesn't cause inflammation is decaffeinated coffee which contains the same very beneficial compounds as regular coffee except for the caffeine.

Drinking decaffeinated coffee as opposed to caffeinated coffee can result in a small reduction in inflammatory markers.

Ground coffee is healthier than instant coffee and contains more antioxidants and nutrients that are somewhat removed during the instant coffee making process.

Ground coffee also tastes much better than instant coffee.

Instant coffee is slightly less healthy than ground coffee although both instant coffee and ground coffee are still healthy.

Liquid coffee mate is not healthier than powdered coffee mate as liquid coffee mate is made with partially hydrogenated soybean and or cottonseed oil which results in trans fats.

Powdered coffee mate is healthier than liquid coffee mate as it's made with palm and coconut kernel oils which means it has saturated fat but little to no trans fat.

The difference between instant coffee and ground coffee is that instant coffee is more concentrated and goes through a quick drying process or freeze drying process which creates a powdered coffee extract.

When you add the instant coffee powder to hot water it dissolves and creates a cup of coffee.

Coffee grounds on the other hand are just coffee beans that have been roasted and ground down to make coffee with hot water pouring over it such as through a coffee maker.

Freshly brewed coffee is healthier for you than instant coffee as instant coffee is more processed while brewed coffee is not processed other than roasting the beans and grinding the coffee.

Freshly brewed coffee also tastes better than instant coffee as well.

Although both instant coffee and brewed coffee support a healthy heart and energy levels when you drink them in moderation and instant coffee contains a bit less caffeine than brewed coffee.

Instant coffee is real coffee as instant coffee powder is made from real coffee beans.

The soluble and volatile contents of the beans are extracted.

Then the water is removed so powder or concentrated soluble coffee powder are left over.

It's essentially been dehydrated for our convenience – just add water.

You cannot just add water to ground coffee like you would with instant coffee.

Ground coffee will not turn out the same when just added to water without it being filtered and the water going over the coffee grounds.

You would just end up with grounds in your coffee cup as the coffee grounds would simply sink to the bottom of the cup without extracting the coffee from the coffee grounds.

You can however use a coffee filter and then place it over a cup and put coffee grounds into the coffee filter and pour hot water over the coffee grounds to make coffee without a coffee maker.

Using ground coffee as instant coffee may result in a slightly different flavor profile than traditional instant coffee.

The texture may also be coarser due to the presence of coffee grounds, and there may be some sediment in your cup.

Instant coffee differs from ground coffee because instant is made from dried coffee extract but is more concentrated.

Through a quick drying process or freeze-drying process, a powdered coffee extract is then created.

When you add that to the hot water, it dissolves to create a cup of coffee in a flash.
