Foods that have little to no calories are Kale, celery and cucumbers as well as broccoli, Cauliflower, apples and spinach.

Many fruits and vegetables are very low in calories.

Vegetables such as zucchini, lettuce, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, celery and cucumbers are low in calories.

Fruits such as pears, apples, peaches, berries, watermelon and citrus fruits such as lemons, grapefruits and oranges are low in calories.

As for beverages that are low in calories these include tea, sparkling water and coffee.

Herbs and spices are also low or no sugar condiments which add flavor without adding calories.

Even broth can add flavor to foods without adding additional calories.

Foods that contain no calories don't really exist but many of the foods are lower in calories.

Foods that have 5 calories or less can be labeled as no calories which is allowed by the FDA but even these foods contain some calories and contribute to your overall calorie intake.

Calories quantify the amount of energy that your body can extract from food.

And all foods contain some amount of energy and even seemingly zero calorie foods such as artificial sweeteners still provide some energy, albeit much less than natural sugars.

Water is actually the only substance with zero calories as water doesn't provide any energy to the body although the body requires water to function properly.
