The reason why you should not eat onion and garlic is because they can make conditions worse such as acid reflux, ulcers, colitis, heartburn, intestinal inflammation, skin rashes or redness, etc.

You should not eat onions when you're suffering from heartburn, acid reflux or other intestinal conditions.

Also you should not eat onions at night as they can lead to acid in the stomach which can make it hard to sleep.

People who should avoid onions are people and those suffering from acid reflux, ulcers, colitis, heartburn, intestinal inflammation, skin rashes or redness.

If you suffer from acid reflux or heartburn the onions can make the heartburn and acid reflux worse.

The taste of onions depends on the type and variety of onion you're eating as different onions have different tastes.

In general though onions have tastes such as sweet or sour, soft or crisp, tangy or dripping with umami.

The sweetest and mildest onion is the Vidalia onion.

The strongest tasting onion is the Red or Purple Onion.

Vidalia onions are a particularly mild yellow onion grown around Vidalia, Georgia.

Crunchy and sweet, they're excellent served raw in salads and salsas.

You can cook with purple onions the same as you cook with white onions or yellow onions or any other onions.

The side effects of eating onions are stomach ache, bloating, vomiting, gas, nausea, heartburn and abdominal discomfort.

The onions that are best for eating raw are the red onions, yellow onions and white onions.

Red onions and yellow onions are even healthier than white onions as they contain more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

It is healthy to eat an onion a day as onions do have healthy compounds and antioxidants, vitamins, minerals etc.

However for some people who eat an onion a day they may get stomach aches and stomach problems, gas and bloating etc.
