You can chop meat in a chopper.

Meat including ground beef, sausage, turkey etc can be chopped using a food chopper or meat chopper or other food processor.

A meat grinder is best for chopping and grinding of meat but even a food chopper or food processor can also effectively break down cooked meat, especially ground meats to achieve a consistency that is desired.

I chop meat in my food chopper and it works just fine for me.

Other foods you can put in a food chopper are some sauces, dips, breadcrumbs, cut up carrots and other cut up hard vegetables, lettuce, nuts, herbs, garlic, onions and other vegetables.

You can also blend ingredients for dressings and marinades and even grind meat and puree small amounts of food in a food chopper.

Food choppers are great for chopping onions, garlic, herbs like basil, cilantro, parsley, ginger, carrots, zucchini, peppers, celery, walnuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, apples, berries, bananas, bread, cooked meat, cheese for grating, cheese for simply chopping, cooked eggs for dips and salads and even making small batches of Pesto, marinades, dressings, dips including guacamole or hummus.

Food choppers are also great for crushed cookies for pie crusts, fruits for sauces and spices for curry pastes, ingredients for salsa or pico de gallo, ingredients for falafel or other patties and even for making of baby food.

Food choppers are made to handle and chop various types of vegetables including hard vegetables such as the carrots.

Food choppers are well worth it and you should buy a food chopper because a food chopper reduces effort and saves time as well as minimizes mess when compared to manual chopping of the food, especially when it comes to repetitive tasks of chopping food.

Chopping food can be done with a knife or manually although using a food chopper makes the tasks of chopping food easier and faster.

If you do a lot of chopping of foods including vegetables, nuts and herbs it's a great idea to have a food chopper and well worth it.

You can use a food chopper for a variety of tasks including making shredded cheese, pie crust, hummus etc without much effort.

I love my food chopper and would not want to be without it now.

The difference between chop and grind is that grind reduces the food to much finer particles and can even mean grinding the food into a powder or paste like consistency.

Chop or chopping is the cutting of food into smaller and bite sized pieces.

An example of grinding would be grinding of coffee beans into coffee grounds which can also be done to other foods as well.

Grinding basically reduces the food to very fine particles or even a paste like consistency, by using friction or a grinder.

Grinding of foods is often used to create a uniform texture and to release flavors or even prepare ingredients for certain recipes such as grinding of meat, coffee beans spices etc.

Food processors, grinders such as meat grinders or even mortar and pestles can also be used for grinding.

Ground food also has a much finer and often powdery or paste like texture with less individual particle definition.

Chopping of foods results in the food having larger and more defined pieces, while the grinding produces much smaller and often indistinguishable particles.

Chopped food also retains more of it's original texture and ground food has a smoother more uniform texture.

Chopping of food is often used for general food preparation and ease of cooking and grinding is often used for flavor release, specific textures or even to prepare foods for certain types of recipes.
