The most expensive cut of beef per pound is the Kobe Beef which costs around $110.00 per pound but Kobe Beef is banned in the USA so you won't be able to get it in the USA even if you can afford it.
Not sure why exactly it's illegal for Kobe beef to be in the USA but I hear that some restaurants are fighting to make Kobe beef legal in the USA.
