Too much caffeine is supposed to increase your risk for developing kidney disease but research has not shown that Caffeine actually increases your risk of developing kidney disease or any other kidney problems so there's no way to know for sure.
Too much soda though and other fizzy drinks do increase your risk of developing kidney disease though so avoid drinking too much soda.
But my Grandma lived to be 95 years old and drank 2 pots of coffee everyday with caffeine in it and never had any kidney problems or other health problems.
She was very healthy until she just suddenly passed in her sleep at home.
