A great way to cook squash is to take a skillet and turn it on low heat and then melt some butter in the skillet and then take the sliced squash and add it to the skillet and put some onions in the skillet along with the squash.
Cook the squash and onions for about 10 minutes or until the onions become translucent and the squash becomes tender.
Remove the skillet from the stove and add some pepper and salt and it will make a great squash dish.
You can also cut squash in half and bake the squash in the oven in a baking pan.
