How do you cook squash in the oven?

To bake the squash in the oven cut the squash into halves and preheat the oven to 350 F.

Take the squash with the cut sides down and place the squash in a baking dish and then pour some water into the baking dish around the squash halves.

Then place the squash in the oven and bake until the squash becomes tender or is easily pierced with a fork which should take from 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

When the squash is fully baked in the oven the skin of the squash should be very easy to remove.
