There is a vegan egg.

Vegan eggs are made from starches, plant-based proteins, soy products (lecithin, tofu, and tahini), algae flours, and other ingredients (e.g., fruit purees and vinegar).

If you're eating the vegan eggs plain scrambled, they are the most egg-like and tastes as eggy as conventional eggs.

So much so that if you add other ingredients to the vegan eggs, like cheese and veggies, or make a breakfast sandwich or burrito with it and serve it to your friends, they'll never know they're not eating real eggs.

Vegan eggs don't offer much in the way of nutrients like regular eggs that offer many health benefits and are rich in vitamin B12, selenium, choline, iodine, riboflavin and vitamin A.

The trade off is the vegan eggs don't contain saturated fat (with the exception of the poached vegan egg variety) and are free of cholesterol.

Vegan egg yolk is made up Fortified Nutritional Yeast (dry yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, thiamin hydrochloride, folic acid, B12), Sodium Alginate, Black Salt, Beta Carotene.

Just Egg is a good vegan egg product.

Just Egg resembles real liquid eggs with its golden color.

The product's ingredients include water, mung bean protein isolate and canola oil, plus a variety of spices, natural flavors and thickeners to yield an egg-like texture.

(Mung bean is a legume.) A 3-tablespoon serving of Just Egg equals one egg.
