It is OK to eat full fat cottage cheese although you should only eat full fat cottage cheese in moderation as it can be fattening and contribute to weight gain and other health issues.

There are some things that are unhealthy about cottage cheese which is mainly the high levels of fat and sodium which can be bad for heart health and put you at increased risk of weight gain and heart disease when consumed in excess.

However when consumed in moderation cottage cheese is healthy for you and contains calcium, vitamins and other nutrients.
