When placing your 55 inch TV in your living room or other room you should place the 55 inch Television a minimum of 8 to 9 feet from the couch or chair.
If you can't get your couch or chair further than 8 feet from the 55 inch TV then you can still watch the Television but the viewing experience won't be as great as it would if you were to place your 55 inch TV 8 to 9 feet away from your couch or chair.
