Why does my led computer monitor suddenly have a pink tint to the screen?

My computer monitor that is only a few months old has suddenly started to get a pink tint color to the white backgrounds on websites and it just started happening a couple days ago.

What could be causing my new led monitor to have a pink colored tint to the white backgrounds on websites?

If your monitor is hooked to your computer using the old VGA cables then check to be sure that the VGA monitor cable is firmly seated into the socket and not loose.

I would pull the VGA cable plug and then plug it back in and check for any bent pins on the VGA cable as well which can cause a pink colored tint to your computer screen.

If the cable is plugged in all the way and the cable doesn't have any bent pins then the cable is likely bad and needs replaced.

If the VGA cable is bad I would recommend upgrading to HDMI for your computer monitor since HDMI gives a much better picture quality than the old analog VGA cables do.

You may have to get an HDMI video card if your computer doesn't have one although new computers that you buy today should already have built in HDMI capabilities.
