Desktop computer keeps restarting and recovering from serious error

Question

My desktop computer Windows xp is constantly restarting every 10 minutes or so?

When it restarts it says it recovered from a serious error? Is my computer quitting on me?

How can I fix this error?

Corrupt driver, other OS component, or memory failure, is the most likely cause.
Boot from Windows CD, and repair-install the OS if you feel up too it.

Or if you can afford to then just get a new computer as windows xp is an outdated operating system.
