Dairy including milk can last unrefrigerated for up to 2 hours before it starts to spoil.

However if the room temperature or temperature around the dairy is hotter than 75 F to 80 F then the dairy or milk can spoil at around 1 hour or sometimes less.

Milk can stay out at room temperature for up to 2 hours to 3 hours although it should be refrigerated if not using or drinking the milk within 2 hours.

A gallon of milk can sit out at room temperature for up to 2 to 3 hours depending on the temperature of the room.

If the room is 60 F to 70 F then the gallon of milk will usually be safe for up to 2 to 3 hours and if the room temperature is above 70 F or 90 F or higher then the gallon of milk will usually go sour and bad within 1 hour or less.

A glass of milk can sit out at room temperature for up to 2 hours although if the temperature is 90 F or higher the glass of milk can spoil within an hour.

Sometimes a glass of milk may be okay at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours depending on the temperature of the room.

Milk can sit out at room temperature for up to 2 hours.

After 2 hours the milk can spoil and should be thrown out.

However if the temperature is 90 degrees or above the milk can spoil within an hour or less.

Milk does spoil faster when in plastic containers than it does in glass containers or Jars.

Milk that is put in glass jars or containers last longer and doesn't spoil as fast as it does in plastic jugs.

For some reason milk seems to taste better when it's in glass jars or glass containers than it does in plastic.

The plastic probably leeches some chemical into the milk which probably alters the taste some.

Plastic jugs for milk are much cheaper to make and transport and are lighter as well.

So by putting milk in plastic jugs it makes the milk bottling process cheaper which makes the milk cheaper for us to buy.

You can buy milk in some stores that comes in glass jars and it's what I buy because it tastes better to me.

I found that the milk lasts longer in the glass containers than it does in the plastic containers.
