You can use chicken broth instead of stock as both chicken broth and chicken stock are interchangeable easily and is a fine substitute for one another.

However if you have the choice between the two the chicken broth will be better.

Store bought chicken stock is pretty healthy to eat.

However store bought chicken stock or broth is less healthy than homemade chicken stock or chicken broth.

Store bought chicken stock or chicken broth is higher in sodium content than homemade chicken stock or chicken broth is.

So if you need to watch our sodium intake then it's best to use homemade chicken stock or chicken broth so that you don't get too much sodium.

But in moderation the store bought chicken stock or chicken broth is okay even if you need to watch your sodium intake.

Chicken broth and chicken stock can be drank by itself or added to food that calls for chicken broth.

Since chicken broth is edible in other foods you can drink the chicken broth by itself if you want too.

I drink chicken broth when I have a cold or flu and it really helps give me some energy and helps me feel better when I cannot get any other food down.

The chicken broth gives you some nutrients and some energy when you're sick.

Also drinking chicken broth in the cold weather is nice as well.

You can heat up some chicken broth and drink it from a cup or you can drink the chicken broth cold.

If you open chicken broth make sure to refrigerate it within an hour of opening it because it can go bad.

Chicken broth will last for up to 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator.

You can freeze leftover chicken broth and it will last for a few months.
