Tomatoes can be frozen but you must cut up the tomatoes in chunks and then place them in a sealed container for freezer safe bag.

Freezing whole tomatoes will make them soggy and mushy so it's not recommended to freeze whole tomatoes but when chopped up in slices or chunks the tomatoes will freeze okay.
