You can freeze eggs but you must remove the eggs from the shells and then place the egg yolk in a plastic bag or plastic container.

Never freeze whole eggs as they will crack and split open in the freezer however the eggs will still be okay.

Eggs can be frozen in the shell but the egg shell will crack when the eggs are frozen.

However that is usually not a problem as the inside of the egg yolk will be frozen so it won't be messy.

Although it's best to remove eggs from the eggshell and then place them in a container or Ziploc bag and then freeze them that way.

Eggs are washed in the US as a way to prevent Salmonella and bacteria and control salmonella, a potentially fatal bacteria that can cling to eggs.

(The cuticle also helps keep moisture in the egg.)

The eggs are washed in warm water and a detergent.

After washing, they are rinsed and cleaned with a sanitizer to remove any remaining bacteria.

The eggs are then dried to remove moisture from the surface.

The result are eggs that are clean on the outside, and look spotless.

Eggs last for around 5 weeks in the fridge before they go bad.

You can also leave eggs out on the counter for a few weeks and they will be good for the few weeks without refrigeration.

Store bought eggs will last for up to 5 weeks in the refrigerator as long as they remain refrigerated.

That is for eggs that remain in the egg shell.

As long as the eggs remain in the egg shell they will last up to 5 weeks before they go bad.

It's best to eat the eggs within a few weeks of buying them for freshness but the eggs will remain safe to eat for up to 5 weeks after purchase.

If you open the eggs and remove them from the eggshell then they will only last for only 2 to 3 days.

You can scramble the eggs up then freeze the raw eggs that way they will last up to around 6 months.

Freezing the raw eggs once removed from the egg shell will help them last longer.

Eggs are usually good for up to 5 weeks in the refrigerator and eggs are usually good for a few weeks at room temperature.
