Miracle Whip as well as mayonnaise does have raw eggs although the raw eggs in Miracle Whip and Mayonnaise are pasteurized which makes them safe for consumption even by pregnant women.

Mayonnaise should smell fresh and not sour and it should not smell like vinegar even though mayo contains vinegar.

When the mayonnaise or mayo smells like vinegar, overly sour or acidic then it is no longer safe to consume.
