When you cook boba you cook boba for 10 to 12 minutes and during the first 30 to 45 seconds the boba should begin to float and then you continue to cook the boba until 10 to 12 minutes have passed.

Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Add the boba and stir gently until they begin floating to the top of the water.

Cook the boba: Turn the heat to medium and cook the boba for 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove the pan from heat, cover, and let the pearls sit for another 10 to 12 minutes.

Boba is not very bad for you when consumed in moderation.

Although boba can be bad for you and be fattening due to the high sugar content and boba is not nutritious but it's okay to drink boba in moderation.

The beverages like bubble tea have been linked to several adverse health effects, including heart disease, obesity, liver problems, and type 2 diabetes .

Unfortunately, boba itself provides very few health benefits, though its calories and carbohydrates can provide you with a boost in energy.

In most cases, boba tea contains high levels of sugar, which is linked to long-term health conditions like diabetes and obesity.

Boba also known as bubble tea is a tea-based drink that originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s.

It most commonly consists of tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls, but it can be made with other toppings as well such as grass jelly, aloe vera, red bean, etc.

Boba pearls are made of tapioca starch that comes from the cassava root, so compassionate customers can rest easy knowing that gelatin is not used in the making of these tiny balls of deliciousness.

Boba is made from tapioca. Due to the tapioca ingredient, it means the "pearls" or "bubbles" don't dissolve quickly when expanded to their fullest.

Hence, if you eat them without chewing, it can be hazardous.

What Does Boba Taste Like?

Mostly, very sweet! Usually frothy yet creamy with the texture of tapioca balls when slurped through a straw.

Not quite as icy cold or as thick as a milkshake or juice bar drink, unless it's a slushy version.

Everyone has their own preferences, whether they prefer to swallow… or chew, how they like to eat/drink their boba is completely up to them.

However, like when consuming any other type of foods, it would certainly be far more beneficial to chew your tapioca balls.

Since the additive expands when it comes in contact with water, it can cause constipation when consumed in high quantities and without enough water to wash it all down.
