Aluminum utensils are safe to use and eat from.

Although it can be considered harmful to eat from aluminum utensils as it's thought that aluminum utensils could lead to dementia, brain issues and Alzheimer's disease it's not actually proven that the aluminum utensils can lead to those issues.

While some studies suggest that cooking in utensils or aluminum foils is safe, others suggest that it may lead to toxic levels of aluminum in the body.

However, studies have shown that leaching of aluminum from cooking utensils depends on many factors such as pH, temperature and cooking medium.

Aluminum conducts heat quickly and is quite sturdy which is why it is widely used by people.

However, when heated up, aluminum can react with acidic foods like tomatoes and vinegar.

This reaction can make the food toxic and might also lead to stomach troubles and nausea.

Other conditions that aluminum cookware and aluminum utensils are thought to cause include.

Anxiety,
Bone diseases (such as osteoporosis),
Diseases of eyes,
Decrease kidney function.
Diarrhea, hyperacidity.
Indigestion.
Pain in abdomen.

Generally though aluminum utensils and aluminum cookware is safe and non harmful.

Many people cook with and eat with aluminum cookware and utensils without any health issues.
