To keep your grocery bill down buy cheaper foods and avoid brand name foods.

It's cheaper to buy generic food brands than name brand foods which are basically the same thing but you're paying higher prices for the name.

Buy the cheapest foods and use coupons when you can.

Also consider buying foods at a place that sells expired foods which can still be good but much cheaper.

Track your food expenses for one week.
Get cash back on grocery purchases.
Make a shopping list and stick to it.
Buy non-perishable items in bulk.
Make your own versions of prepared and processed foods.
Pre-cook food for the week.
Buy produce locally and in season.
Use a meal delivery service.

The meat that is cheapest is turkey, ground turkey, chicken legs, sausage and boneless chicken.

The cheapest and healthiest meal is fresh and smoked salmon terrine (good for brain and heart function).

Other good cheap and healthiest meals include.

Mixed leaf salad with Extra Virgin Olive Oil dressing (for maintaining cholesterol).
High-fiber multigrain bread roll.
Chicken casserole with lentils and mixed vegetables (good for iron absorption).

The cheapest food to survive on is rice along with Ramen Instant Noodles.

Other cheapest foods to survive on include.

Beans, Pasta, Lettuce, Cereal, Frozen Chicken, Turkey, Ground Turkey, Oats and Oatmeal.

Apples, Berries, Cherries, Oranges, Pears, Potatoes. Garlic, Pineapple, Salads, Beans, lentils, Raspberries, Beets, Beetroot, Strawberries, Peas, Corn, Cucumbers, Dark Chocolate, Lemons and Garlic.

SPINACH. This nutrient-dense green superfood is readily available - fresh, frozen or even canned.

One of the healthiest foods on the planet, spinach is packed with energy while low in calories, and provides Vitamin A, Vitamin K, and essential folate.

Fish is also a healthy food in moderation.

Fish is a low-fat high quality protein.

Fish is filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2 (riboflavin).

Fish is rich in calcium and phosphorus and a great source of minerals, such as iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium.

Salmon. Salmon is versatile and one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acid, which is essential as the body cannot make it on its own so it must be obtained through food.

Hi. There are so many ways to lower your grocery bill. I take it you're talking about being able to control your own spending and so on? If so, that's done with mobile apps that you put your spending into. You can also use an online builder and write yourself a bill every time, the amount of money you can spend on groceries. This is done in order to limit yourself a little bit from reckless purchases.
