Montmorency cherries can help you sleep as they just like other cherries contain a natural hormone called melatonin.

The Montmorency cherry is a variety of sour cherry grown in Europe, Canada, and the United States, particularly in the Grand Traverse Bay region of Northwest Michigan and in Door County, Wisconsin.

Eating cherries at night is not bad and in fact eating cherries at night can help you sleep because cherries are a natural source of melatonin which helps our bodies fall asleep and stay asleep.

Cherries do make you sleepy as cherries contain melatonin which is a natural hormone in your body to help you sleep.

So by eating the cherries you can help your body increase the amount of melatonin in your body to help you sleep.

Cherry Juice can make you sleepy because the cherry juice contains Melatonin.

Cherries and Cherry Juice can make  you sleepy as cherries and cherry juice naturally contain melatonin which our bodies produce to help us fall asleep.

Cherry Juice is a wonderful home remedy for helping you fall asleep naturally and help you stay asleep.

Tart Cherry Juice is best though because it contains more melatonin than regular cherry juice does but even regular cherry juice can help you sleep as long as it's the real cherry juice and not the fake cherry juice.

I've seen fake cherry juice made with artificial ingredients in stores and it's not the healthy or correct cherry juice.

Make sure you get the real cherry juice and it will help you fall asleep due to the natural melatonin since melatonin is a natural sleep hormone that helps people sleep.

Tart cherry juice is good to drink but if you take certain medications such as blood thinners it can react with those medications so you should speak with your doctor if you take blood thinners or other medications to be sure that the tart cherry juice won't interfere with the medications you take.

Tart Cherry Juice contains a plant compound called quercetin that is what interacts and interferes with some medications.

If you are taking medications such as blood thinners drinking a cup of small glass of cherry juice at night or in the daytime should do no harm.

My mother takes medications and she drinks a cup of cherry juice at night to help her sleep and it's been a problem.
