To make outdoor coffee you can use a coffee percolator that you put over a campfire or on a camping stove.

You put the coffee grounds into the coffee basket and then add water to the coffee percolator then place the coffee percolator over a campfire or on a camping stove.

Then allow the coffee water to boil until it percolates and finishes which can take 10 to 15 minutes or so.

Another option is to plug a coffee maker into an inverter with solar panels and batteries or plug the inverter into your vehicle.

Or you could make coffee by doing the cowboy coffee method.

Cowboy coffee is coffee that is brewed by simply heating coarse grounds with water and then pouring it into a cup after the grounds have settled.

The cowboy coffee refers to how cowboys would make the coffee on the trail over a campfire without having a coffee maker or other better ways to make it.

The cowboy coffee can be pretty strong depending on how you make it and not as good as coffee made using a regular coffee pot.

However for some people cowboy coffee can be pretty good and not any stronger than other ways of making coffee.

Cowboy coffee is a style of coffee that was traditionally made by cowboys on the trail, typically traveling with the “chuck wagons” that were driving cattle west.

It is often thought to be stronger than regular brewed coffee, but that's actually untrue.

The steps to make cowboy coffee are as follows.

4 cups of water into your coffee pot.
Once the water is warm, pour in the coffee grounds.
Bring the water to a rolling boil.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for a minute.
If you see grounds on the surface, try adding 1/4 cup or less of cold water.
Serve and enjoy.
