An LED TV and HDTV are almost the same thing. The HDTV is an led TV but the picture on the HDTV is a high definition picture and the non HDTV led TV is just a standard definition TV and has a lower quality picture.
But you must be capable of receiving HDTV through your antenna or other TV service provider to actually get the HDTV picture.
