The price of peanut butter ranges from $1.79 to $2.50 and sometimes a bit more depending on where you buy the peanut butter and the brand of peanut butter you buy.

Most often though Peanut Butter will be less than $2.00 to $3.00 per Jar.

A 16 ounce Jar of Peanut Butter at Aldi is around $1.79 per jar of peanut butter.

Although the prices may vary from location to location but most often a Jar of peanut butter at Aldi or anywhere else is most often under $2.00 per Jar.

Aldi Peanut Butter and Walmart Peanut Butter does not have Xylitol.

Walmart Peanut Butter does not have xylitol.

There are currently five peanut butter brands that use xylitol: Go Nuts Co., Krush Nutrition, Nuts 'N More, P28 Foods, and Protein Plus PB.

Xylitol is generally well tolerated, but some people experience digestive side effects when they consume too much. The sugar alcohols can pull water into your intestine or get fermented by gut bacteria .

This can lead to gas, bloating and diarrhea.

Xylitol can reduce constipation, diabetes, obesity, and other body syndromes or illnesses; it has also revealed its stimulating effect on digestion and immune system.

However, it can produce some side effects such as irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, nephrolithiasis, etc., when consumed in excessive amounts.

Xylitol may be better for dental health compared to consuming large amounts of sugar, however, it is still a sweetener and as with other sugar alternatives, too much is not recommended.

The best way to control dental cavities and sugar cravings is to avoid excess sugar and aim for a balanced diet.

Although most peanut butter brands don't contain any xylitol so it's safe for dogs to consume.

If you're feeding your dog peanut butter you should avoid peanut butter that contains any Xylitol as it's harmful to dogs.

Why is xylitol toxic to dogs?

Xylitol can cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar levels) as a dog's pancreas will confuse it will real sugar, which makes it release more insulin.

The insulin then removes the real sugar in the body, leading to plummeting blood sugar levels.

However peanut butter without xylitol is safe for dogs to eat.

Xylitol is a chemical compound with the formula C ₅H ₁₂O ₅, or HO(CHOH)₃OH; specifically, one particular stereoisomer with that structural formula.

It is a colorless or white crystalline solid that is soluble in water.

It can be classified as a polyalcohol and a sugar alcohol, specifically an alditol.
