LED Screens such as LED monitors and LED TV's have what is known as Liquid Crystals in them as the display.

If you press lightly on an LED screen you will see little liquid crystals moving around as you're disturbing those liquid crystals.

Just don't press too hard on the LED screen as it can damage the LED Liquid Crystals.

The LED lighting is a diode known as a light emitting diode which is what LED Stands for.

Many liquid crystals are simple polymeric organic compounds.

Most people tend to think of polymers as flexible (polythenes etc.) so for liquid crystals the polymers have to incorporate a rigid section, either in the long polymer section (main chain liquid crystals) or attached to the polymer as a 'side chain'.

Liquid crystal (LC) is a state of matter that has properties between those of conventional liquids and those of solid crystals.

For instance, a liquid crystal may flow like a liquid, but its molecules may be oriented in a crystal-like way.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a type of flat panel display which uses liquid crystals in its primary form of operation.

LEDs have a large and varying set of use cases for consumers and businesses, as they can be commonly found in smartphones, televisions, computer monitors and instrument panels.

A liquid-crystal display is a flat-panel display or other electronically modulated optical device that uses the light-modulating properties of liquid crystals combined with polarizers.

Liquid crystals do not emit light directly, instead using a backlight or reflector to produce images in color or monochrome.
