Ranking on Google search can take from a few days to as long as a few years.
The length of time it takes for your website and content to rank in Google depends on the age of your website, the age of your domain, the content and how much competition you have for your keywords you're trying to rank for.
It can be easier for your website to rank for lower competition keywords while it can be harder for you to rank for higher competition keywords.
Also in the beginning when your website or blog is new Google will have you in the Google Sandbox for awhile to allow you to play and then they eventually start trusting your website.
If you're starting a new website or blog then you can expect it to take a few months to a year or 2 before you see your blog post or content rank.
I have a blog myself and it sometimes takes as long as 2 years to 3 years for some of my blog posts to rank.
But when they do rank they stay ranked high in the search results and continue to bring in traffic for many years.
As your website gets older and more trusted then you can sometimes rank content or a blog post in google search in a day or less.
But normally expect it to take a few months to a few years before your content ranks in Google.
Blogging can be a good way to earn money online but it does not happen overnight.
But with continued hard work you can reap the rewards in money for many years to come from those blog posts.
It can be hard to stay motivated when your content is not ranking right now or making any money or hardly any money at all but later on all that hard work writing all that content for your blog will pay off and you can make money in your sleep like I do myself.
