Abuse of a corpse in Kentucky is when anyone knowingly disinters, removes, dissects, mutilates or physically mistreats a corpse in a manner offensive to a person of reasonable sensibilities is guilty of a Class D felony, unless the action was authorized by law.
The abuse of a corpse laws make reference to acts committed by a person that he or she “knows would outrage reasonable family sensibilities” or “would outrage reasonable community sensibilities.”

(B) No person, except as authorized by law, shall treat a human corpse in a way that would outrage reasonable community sensibilities.
(C) Whoever violates division (A) of this section is guilty of abuse of a corpse, a misdemeanor of the second degree.
It is a criminal offense that is committed by a person who was found to have intentionally engaged in a sexual activity involving a corpse of a human being.
Upon conviction of abuse of a corpse the violator of any provision of this section shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for a term not more than seven (7) years, by a fine not exceeding Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.
So abuse of a corpse if caught and convicted can get you up to 7 years in prison.
