Summer Sausage is healthy to eat in moderation.

However due to the sodium the summer contains it can unhealthy to eat too much summer sausage and it can also be fattening to eat too much summer sausage.

The summer sausage is not exactly healthy in excess because the summer sausage is mostly just meat and lots of salt, both of which are known to damage your heart if consumed in large enough amounts.

It should deliver a nice dose of protein, though.
