To rank your websites content first on Google you need to create awesome content on your website.
You need to write good quality, long and detailed content that is better than the other websites content on the web.
Also if your website is new then it can take some time to get Google to trust your website and to climb in the ranks.
Older websites and older domain names typically rank better in Google Search than newer websites and newer domains.
However during the time your website is new you should continue writing as much content as you can.
The more quality content you have on your website the more links to your website can be indexed in Google from the content.
This in turn creates more pages for Google Search to index and then leads to more website traffic.
Organic Search Traffic from Google and Bing are the best kinds of traffic.
It can sometimes take a few years or 5 years to start seeing your website climb in the ranks.
However never quit writing content as Google Search Loves fresh and quality content.
The more often your website is updated the more Google Search Crawlers will crawl your website and index new pages.
Also just note you have to be patient when ranking in Google.
In some cases it can take 6 months to a year for one of your blog posts to rank in Google Search.
Although it may be indexed in Google Search it can take awhile to climb to the top of the page.
I've had some blog posts that I've written take 6 months and some a year to climb to the top of the Google Search.
So you have to be patient as ranking for keywords in Google Search can take time.
However after all that work your blog posts and content can rank for years and years and bring in income from your website even while you sleep.
Right now after 7 years of basically blogging for little money the blog makes more money overnight and while I do nothing than I made on my actual Job.
