How boring is it to be in jail?

Just a random thought and question.

How boring is it to be in Jail? How do inmates cope and deal with being locked in a cell for days,months,weeks and even years?

I'd go insane being locked in a little cell and building all day for a long time.

I've never been to jail and hope I never go.

I can't say how boring it is. But I agree it must be hell. "Which is the point" Sometimes they play cards, and not everyone is always locked in cell all day.

Some are able to roam around the inside of the building with other inmates.
