I would consider making money online a job just as you would be working at another job to earn money.
Making money online isn't easy and you don't get rich by doing no work so yes making money online would be considered a job.
If someone says that you can make a living online without doing any work then they're lying. You're gonna have to work hard at least for awhile in the beginning to get the money coming in.
It's not gonna happen without hard work.
