Wireless Connection keeps dropping but Ethernet works fine

Question

I have a windows xp deskptop which I hooked a wireless antenna too. The wireless internet keeps dropping and I have to keep plugging and unplugging the wifi antennas usb cord on my computer for it to reconnect.

Once it does reconnect the connection only lasts for 10 minutes then it drops.

I decided to move my desktop to my bedroom where the router is and plugged it direct in via the ethernet cord and the connection works just fine.

Other wifi connections stay connected. What could this be?

If everything else on wifi works fine then it could be your wifi antenna going bad or the software needs updated that controls your wifi antenna.
